Renew: all church retreat 2023
On January 27-29 we had our All Church Retreat: Renew. It was a beautiful time of spiritual renewal, growth in the Word, and strengthening of community.
Guest speaker Rev. Joel Kim spoke powerfully on repentance, dependence, presence, and prayer–reminding us to draw near to God, our good and loving Father. We were also blessed by our guest praise band, who led us in our times of worship and praise. And our children’s ministries even had their own guest speakers and volunteers who came to bless our children and teach them about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
From worship to small groups to games and times of fellowship, the retreat was truly a warm weekend full of great memories and joy. And as we anticipate the launch of our church plant, Kindred, there was opportunity to spend extended and specific time in prayer over the new church and her people. It was a retreat to remember before our daughter church begins her journey toward independence. All glory, praise, and honor to our God!
